Amul's cold coffee is ubiquitous — available at virtually every kirana store, petrol station and railway platform across India. At ₹25–₹30 a bottle, the price is unbeatable. The taste, however, is firmly in the artificial flavouring camp — coffee flavouring rather than coffee extracts, noticeably sweet, and a finish that doesn't quite satisfy the way a real coffee does.

For the budget-conscious consumer or someone who simply wants something cold and caffeinated without tasting the quality — Amul delivers. For anyone who wants actual coffee taste, the small price jump to Aera Café is worth every rupee.

Nescafé's RTD range benefits from Nestlé's massive distribution network — you'll find it almost everywhere. The taste is recognisably Nescafé — the instant coffee character carries through, which is either comforting or synthetic depending on your relationship with instant coffee.

Ingredients include coffee extract but also flavouring agents. Decent for the price, widely available, but doesn't reach the taste quality of brands using purely real coffee extracts like Aera Café or Sleepy Owl.

Raw Pressery's cold brew is well-made and genuinely health-focused — no added sugar options, clean ingredients. The price point is high for regular consumption and availability is limited compared to quick commerce-native brands. Good option for health-conscious buyers who don't mind paying premium prices.

CCD's RTD range trades on the brand's café heritage but doesn't quite live up to it in a bottle. The taste is recognisably café-adjacent but the ingredients list includes flavouring agents. Decent availability but inconsistent quality across batches. The brand name carries weight — the product less so.

Paper Boat's coffee drinks lean into the nostalgia angle effectively. The packaging is beautiful and the brand storytelling is strong. The coffee itself is light-bodied and sweet — more of a coffee-flavoured milk drink than a cold coffee for coffee lovers. Good for casual consumption, less suitable for serious cold coffee drinkers.

Country Bean has built a solid D2C coffee brand with reasonable quality. Their RTD range is improving. Price point sits in the mid-premium range — more expensive than Aera Café but less than Blue Tokai. The distribution is still primarily online with limited quick commerce presence.

Keventers has strong brand recognition built through decades of milkshake culture. Their cold coffee range is milkshake-adjacent — sweet, creamy, and more dessert than beverage. The coffee flavour takes a backseat to sweetness. Good for those who want an indulgent treat rather than a proper cold coffee.
